Merryl Hofmeyr
(NEE SHAW-BUTLER)

Merryl Hofmeyr has been teaching Highland and Irish Dance classes in the Edenvale and Rembrandt Park (Lombardy East) area for 38 years.

Greg Moss now teaches Irish Dancing with Merryl and Robyn Moss teaches Highland dancing.

Children from age 4 years upwards to adults are trained in competitive work, exams, exhibition and show work.

Achievements

Greg was the first South African to qualify for and perform at the World Championships in 2002, earning 6th place in the Senior Men's solo dancing competition and again in 2004.
Top qualifying dancer in the Senior Men's section at the Worlds Qualifiers in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
All Ireland Dance Championships in Killarney - 2nd place in 2002

Robyn Moss
(NEE Hofmeyr)

Qualification

ASSOCIATE - SDTA (Scotland) Highland Dancing

Achievements

Robyn was selected to dance in the Commonwealth team at the Edinburgh Tattoo in 2002 for the Queens Jubilee and again in 2006.
She also performed in the Basel tattoo 2010 Switzerland and the SA Tattoo 2009 and 2011. Robyn reached Premier level in Highland Dancing and won the SA Premiership in Irish dancing.
